The pet grooming industry allows for many ways, one can enter this job field. Schooling, programs and self learning. One of them is through an apprenticeship. Doggo Den offers this by starting all our staff at the core of what makes a quality based stylist. Pet bathing. Knowing how to properly wash and cleanse a pet is vital to the pets skin and coat health as well as creating a clean coat for proper grooming to be done. We then teach every step from blow drying, blow outs, deshedding and hair cutting to the “Groomer in training”. Not only do we teach a life long skill, we offer opportunities of continued learning by going to conventions, competitions and seminars in the salon.

As we continue to grow the salon, our goal is to create more of these job opportunities in our already short staffed industry. Creating caring, efficient and detail oriented stylists one step at a time.
